Community Leisure UK – Scotland is a dynamic network within Community Leisure UK whose members are currently responsible for over 85% of Scotland’s publicly funded leisure and cultural facilities.
There are currently 26 members in Scotland, with an increasingly diverse range of services and assets within their portfolios, all of which are non-profit distributing trusts. These trusts deliver services inside facilities and across the community, in areas as diverse as Ayrshire and Aberdeen, Shetland, Highland and the Borders. The majority of our Scottish members now work across both cultural and physical activity services, offering opportunities to engage with and support a wide range of individuals from across their local communities.
Community Leisure UK has its own Scottish Executive Group, comprising eight CEOs/MDs from our members who generously give their time expertise to both shape the future direction of the organisation, and hold it accountable against its stated aims.
