1.15pm Recruitment and Retention

We will hear from three members in this section who have all taken different approaches to recruitment and retention:

  • Oldham Community Leisure who have introduced a wellbeing focus for staff, with changes to terms and conditions, staff benefits and the introduction of new roles to establish pathways for progression.
  • Burnley Leisure and Culture who will talk about their Apprenticeship scheme and their work with DWP and local prisons around recruitment. 
  • Active Luton will share their experience around the recruitment and retention of volunteers, and insights from their involvement in the Active Kindness programme.

There will be time for questions and discussion following the presentations.
