DBS Service

Community Leisure UK (CLUK) and the Welsh Sports Association (WSA) have formed a Strategic Alliance across areas of shared interest and benefit; one of these areas is safeguarding and a robust DBS checking service for sport & leisure.

As part of the new Strategic Alliance, the WSA is to provide CLUK members with access to its DBS service for sport & leisure, which is run through its trading arm, Vibrant Nation.  CLUK members will pay the rate equal to that offered to the WSA members, which currently stands at £4.50 plus VAT, with no set up fee for the online DBS service.

For more information on this service, please visit the WSA website here.

Free funding easyfundraising

To help diversify your income and raise awareness of your non profit distributing business model, we are pleased to announce our new partnership with easyfundraising.

easyfundraising is an online fundraising platform that allows your trust to earn free funding through everyday online shopping. They do this by working with over 6,000 online retailers who want to give a little back. Everyone’s favourites are available to shop with, including Amazon, Just Eat, eBay, Sports Direct, Screwfix, Argos, Curry’s PC World, and thousands more. With the free funding coming directly from the retailer, this means anyone associated with your trust, regardless of their socio-economic background, can support you without it costing them a penny.

Free, easy to use, and manage, we encourage you to register your trust with easyfundraising. Once registered, you will have access to a team of experts who offer 1-2-1 support to get you started and provide tips and advice on making the most out of this fantastic opportunity.

Join the other 34,700 leisure and arts causes already using easyfundraising. Sign up here :

easyfundraising has also offered to give us a small commission when we refer you to sign up. Any monies raised this way; we have committed to reinvesting back into Community Leisure UK to support positive change within our leisure and culture trusts across England, Scotland, and Wales. We will discuss this with the Finance SIG in April to decide on the best use of the money generated.
