    Good Morning All

I am curious how many of you are “Real Living Wage” employers and for those who are how you intend to implement the new rate. The increase of 10.1% is a hard to swallow and I am not sure how much longer I can financially continue to be signed up to this scheme. I value my team, I pay them well, but it cannot be at the expense of my business. Thanks in advance for your comments, Mark

    Hi Mark,

26% of trusts that responded to last year’s HR survey applied the real living wage to their basic pay review. It will be interesting to see how this has changed in this year’s survey.

    Hope that is helpful, Rachel

    Mark,

We don’t pay RLW as I most of our staff are casual. We pay NLW and I look after our main core staff.
RLW will always be a problem as it increases and increases!

    Hi Mark

Same as Phil .. we just couldn’t cover a 10% increase
