Supported by Community Leisure UK and designed by Bigwave Media the ‘Get U Back’ campaign is a nationwide effort to get communities back into their local, Trust operated, leisure and cultural facilities.
Central to the campaign is the Community Active website which provides a free listing to any Leisure or Cultural Trust in the UK. The site unites Trusts across the UK by presenting the first consumer facing directory, and educational tool, to promote the Trust model to the public. The site will maintain a legacy as a consumer facing tool for the Trust sector that has potential to develop with other collaborative ideas. The enhanced listings enable Trusts to include facility details, special offers, data capture and choice images which is a great idea to showcase the breadth of what the trusts offer in the community. A postcode function enables consumers to find trust options in their local area.
“Supporting our members to help them engage and support their communities, is our priority. Having a dedicated campaign like this one created by Bigwave Media, enables public leisure and culture services to really articulate their role for communities and their keenness to connect with their customers during and after this current pandemic. Our members care about their place and people in those places, hence the ‘Get U Back’ / Cael ti yn ôl message is a powerful one for our members to share and share proudly.”
