Join us for this webinar with partners from National Literary Trust.

📅 – Tues 8 September

⏰ 11am – 12 noon

Many of us are aware of the benefits of reading for pleasure. It sharpens minds, fuels creativity, supports educational attainment and improves life chances, but it is the connections to positive health and wellbeing that we’ll be exploring in this webinar.

Reading for pleasure is one of the simplest and most cost-effective ways to support good mental health and improve wellbeing.

This webinar will explore:

  • How leisure and culture trusts can promote ‘Reading for Wellbeing’, including practical ideas for use across different sites/venues
  • How reading for pleasure can support and add value to existing health and wellbeing offers and provision
  • How leisure and culture trusts can get involved in upcoming National Year of Reading campaign moments such as ‘Mental Wellbeing October’

There will also be an opportunity for discussion during this webinar – for attendees to share ideas and learn from existing initiatives.

If you have not received a diary invite with the Teams link but would like to attend the meeting, please contact [email protected].
