Partnership with KK Thompson Solicitors, experts in property law

Published on: June 4th 2021

We are delighted to launch a new partnership between Community Leisure UK and KK Thompson solicitors, who will be our Expert Legal Partner, specialising in property law.

By working together, we will be able to tap into the knowledge and expertise of KK Thompson and bring this to our members, particularly at a time of uncertainty for many members around facilities and leases in light of the pandemic.

KK Thompson’s Leisure and Culture brochure, outlines their expertise in this area, with previous experience of working with Community Leisure UK members.

We are delighted to be working in partnership with Community Leisure UK and are excited to provide legal support to its members. As specialist property lawyers offering advice to the leisure sector, we understand the unique relationships which exist between community leisure companies and their landlords, together with the challenges that these can sometimes bring. Now more than ever, organisations across the UK are taking the opportunity to review their property contracts and portfolio generally in order to explore whether beneficial changes can be made. The team is built upon a wealth of experience and tailors the way it works to ensure members’ partnership relationships are enhanced and preserved at all times. Whilst already providing bespoke legal advice to some existing members, we are thrilled to have the opportunity to work with Community Leisure UK and its membership. We look forward to working with you.”
