“I’m absolutely astounded to receive this award. There are thousands of volunteers who give up hours of their time day in and day out to make organisations like Vision Redbridge, Frenford and Essex Boys and Girls Clubs run effectively and smoothly, who deserve recognition. I’m of course extremely grateful and lucky that someone nominated me in the first instance and whoever reviews the applications decided that I deserved a piece of that recognition.”
